Fabric Suggestions: Dry oilskin, oilskin, canvas, cotton twill, Jacquard Cotton, 7-12oz denim, linen, corduroy, wool or a pre-quilted fabric like the Thelma range or the Indian Handloom Block quilt range (see the hack to make this jacket/coat unlined & bound). A heavier weight cloth will result in a more structured coat.
For linings M&M suggest their barrier lining if using an oilskin, otherwise - cotton voile, lightweight linen, cotton poplin, lightweight wool and slip linings.
