By Merchant & Mills, The Honey is a paper sewing pattern. *COMING SOON*

Garment Details: Channelling the free spirits of the 1970's, The Honey is a maxi sundress made for lazy days. Featuring a neat mitred bodice and a gently elasticated back. Choose bold patterns, little prints or plains for distinctively different looks.

M&M's embroidery design for the centre panel is an additional PDF pattern. The design is by Evie May Adams, and the embroidery for this sample was beautifully stitched by Becky Hogg.

Sizing: This is a multi-size paper pattern including sizes 6-18  or 18-18. Sizing, finished garment measurements and fabric requirements can be found in the chart located in images.

Fabric Suggestions: Light weight wovens such as linen, chambray, seersucker, cotton lawn, cotton poplin, Tencel and Indian handlooms. Avoid linen that is too heavy as with the gathers this could be too weighty.

Maxine is wearing the Honey in Sundance Check Indian Cotton. Maxine is wearing a UK size 12.

Larli is wearing the Honey in Terrarium Indian Cotton. The embroidered centre piece is our additional PDF embroidery pattern. Larli is wearing a UK size 18.

Sasha is wearing the Honey in Joanie Donguri Organic Seersucker. Sasha is wearing a UK size 10.

Claire is wearing the Honey in a lightweight navy linen (coming very soon). Claire is wearing a UK size 24.

Trims required: Matching thread, 25-29cm/10-11½" x 4cm/1½" wide elastic. 0.6M/¾yd interfacing.

Skill Level: Suitable for an Intermediate.

All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless stated otherwise and are included in the pattern.

*Please note M&M have now changed their pattern printers. Their patterns are now printed within Europe, the pattern paper is 70gsm white (FSC® certified) and is made only 180km away from the printers. Instructions now come in booklet format rather than A3 sheets. The paper is PEFC/01-31-126 certified.
