Overview of the garments: The book features a collection of designs that together make up what the designers believe is a complete basic wardrobe, including key garments & accessories that can be used all year round.
The pattern sheets: This book includes PDF pattern sheets, which can be downloaded. The base patterns can be used to sew a variety of different garments and be combined in different ways.

Straight top: front piece, back piece, sleeve, shirt collar
- Fitted top: front piece, back piece, sleeve
- Jacket: front piece, back piece, collar, sleeve, pocket, pocket flap
- Skirt: front piece, back piece
- Trousers: front piece, back piece
- Swimsuit: front piece, back piece
- Baguette bag: side piece, bottom, ring tab, handle
- Other pieces: waistband, cuff, fly facing, fly flap
For instance, the straight top can be lengthened to make the everyday dress, and the fitted top can be combine with the skirt and extended to make the wrap dress, or combine with the trousers to make the jumpsuit.
The sewing instructions describe which pieces are needed from the specific garment. Guidance is provided on how to modify the pattern pieces, with variations such as different sleeve styles, necklines, collars and lengths. Each pattern piece is graded in sizes and the pattern sheets feature colour-coded lines for each size. All pattern pieces include a 1cm (3/8in) seam allowance.
