Sew the latest fashion! In this book from 2024, Ann Ringstrand, one of the most successful fashion designers in Sweden, shares 10 matching key styles for you to sew for yourself.

Step by step, she guides you through the creation of a mini collection of your own, consisting of a coat, jacket, blazer, waistcoat, dress, skirt, two trousers, and two shirts. 

The book comes with 10 full-scale pattern sheets (some overlapping) with illustrated sewing instructions for women's sizes XS-2XL, EU women’s sizes 32-54, please refer to the sizing chart in images.

The designs are characterised by Scandinavian minimalism and a fusion of tailoring and workwear – a style that has become Ann Ringstrand’s signature since she founded her internationally renowned clothing brand, Hope.

There are creative sewing tips covering materials, personalised details, and inspiring ideas for creating new fashion out of reused garments. 

ANN RINGSTRAND, born in 1965, is a designer who has worked in the Swedish fashion industry since the early 1990s. She grew up among the sewing factories of Borås, the heart of the Swedish textile industry, and sewed her first pair of trousers at the age of nine.

Ann Ringstrand is a trained seamstress, a certified pattern maker from the Copenhagen Academy of Cutting and Tailoring, and a graduate of the fashion design programme at the Swedish School of Textiles at the University of Borås. In 2001, she founded the Swedish fashion brand Hope. Her awards include Designer of the Year, The Swedish Design Prize, and Guldknappen. Since 2020, she has been creating sewing patterns for home-sewn fashion styles, and worked to inspire the world of fashion to embrace more personal and sustainable methods.

This is the awaited sequel to the award-winning book SEW: 10 New Fashion Styles by designer Ann Ringstrand, a title that has been enjoyed by readers in many countries. When it was granted the Svensk bokkonst book design award 2020, the motivation read as follows: “This book will inspire you to begin sewing, and get you started on your own path in making clothes.”
