By I AM PATTERNS, I AM Nout is a paper sewing pattern.
Garment Details: I Am Nout, a pair of sailor trousers, a classic garment to slip into your forever-wardrobe. I am an ankle length tapered trouser. I have a buttoned front flap closure paired with some classic jeans-style details and finishes: patch pockets at the back, a waistband and contrasting colour topstitching.
Sizing: This is a multi-sized pattern European sizes 36-46. Sizing guide and fabric requirements can be found here.
Fabric Recommendations: Denim, cotton twill, chambray, linen, lightweight jacquard, needlecord corduroy, lightweight gabardine. The beige denim trousers were sewn in an Organic Denim called Mila.
Trims required: Matching thread, 8 buttons of 3/4″ (1.8 cm) diameter. Thin cardboard for the ironing template. Optional: Iron-on interfacing: 35″ by 22″ (90 cm x 55 cm)
Skill Level: Suitable for an intermediate skill level. A sew along tutorial explaining how to sew the trousers with multiple pictures per step is available on the I AM Patterns blog.
Seam allowances are included in the pattern.
The paper pattern comes packaged in an envelope and includes highly detailed fully illustrated instructions.
