100% summer weight cotton.

Grass green handloom hand dyed cotton. When fabrics are hand dyed they have a beautiful subtle variation in colour rather than when a commercial dyeing process is used.

Indian handlooms are sometimes susceptible to irregularities in the weave due to their handmade nature, this is all part of their charm and are not classed as flaws.

This Indian handlooms is delicate and lightweight, so perfect for Summer sewing. They can be used for scarves, tops or dresses with some fullness. You can also use them for patchwork or home projects like semi sheer curtains.

It would be perfect for the Winnie pyjamas, a lightweight Ellsworth shirt, even an Edie with a voluminous sleeve or a stunning light summer Etta Dress or a flowy skirt like the Cleo.

Washing & Care: This fabric is hand dyed. For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum at 30 or 40 degrees with a handful of table salt. This will fix the dye to prevent it from running.

Please allow for a shrinkage of 3-5%.
