Sizing and fabric requirements: Sizing, finished garment measurement and fabric requirements information can be found here.

Fabric Suggestions: The Rushcutter dress is compatible with a range of different fabrics. Your choice of fabric will dictate the silhouette you achieve.

For a softer silhouette, consider using light to mid-weight fabrics such as: cotton shirting, poplin, sateen, linen, silk, viscose (rayon), chambray or light-weight denim. For a more structured, boxy look, consider mid-weight denim, twill or jacquard.

Notions: Matching thread. View A - 40cm (16in) invisible zip & 1m (1 yard) x 35mm (1 1/4in) single-fold bias tape. View B - 3 x 10mm (5/8in) buttons, 2m (2 1/4 yards) x 35mm (1 1/4in) single-fold bias tape & a small strip of lightweight iron-on interfacing for button stand (if required)

Skill level: The pattern is placed at a Level 2 on the In the Folds pattern skill scale. (Level 2 - You feel quite confident with the basics and are ready for new challenges.)

Fantastic pattern

I absolutely love this pattern. It fits together beautifully like a jigsaw puzzle and is a dream to sew. I made it in a medium-weight cotton and used my embroidery machine to embroider a design on the pockets before I put the dress together. I love In the Folds patterns and am always on the lookout for new ones.
