Garment Details: The Apron dress is one of those dresses that has it all! Its workwear-inspired yet feminine design, straps crossing at back, the back pleat closed with buttons and the large front pockets make this dress both functional and attractive. Easy to make, easy to wear!
Sizing: This is a multi-size pattern, including sizes XS-L and XL-3XL. Since it is the skirt, rather than the whole dress, that has to fit your body use your waist and seat measurements for sizing. The large back pleat is slightly adjustable by moving the placement of the buttons, in case you wish to have the waist width a few centimetres narrower or wider. Sizing information can be found here.
Model is 170 cm tall and wearing a size S.
Fabric Suggestions: Suggested fabrics are mid-weight fabrics such as denim, cotton twill, lightweight canvas. The Apron dress is sewn in a cotton panama, (midweight canvas).
Fabric requirements: 140-150 cm fabric width XS 1.5 m / S 1.6 m / M 1.7 m / L 1.8 m / XL 2.2 m / 2XL 2.2 m / 3XL 2.3 m
Trims required: Matching thread, two buttons (snap or sew-in) and 50cm interfacing.
Skill level: Suitable for a beginner skill level.
Seam allowances are included in the pattern.
The paper pattern comes packaged in an envelope together with a step-by-step assembly instruction.
