By TRUE BIAS, Mave Skirt is a paper sewing pattern.
Garment Details: The Mave pattern is an elastic waist skirt with a drawstring, inseam pockets and an optional lining. The skirt can be made with or without ruffles in different lengths to create numerous options.
Sizing: This is a multi-size pattern, including sizes 0-18 or 14-30. Sizing, finished garment measurements and fabric requirements can be found here.
Fabric Suggestions: Main Fabric: Light to medium weight fabrics with drape that are 140cm (54”) or wider. Examples include rayon challis, Tencel, crepe, linen, cotton lawn, voile, silk, chiffon, and georgette. Lining Fabric (Optional): Light weight fabrics with drape that are 54” or wider. Examples include rayon challis, crepe, linen, cotton lawn, voile, chiffon, and georgette.
Trims required: Matching thread, coordinating thread, 1 1/4 yd of 2” wide elastic, 1” x 3” scrap of lightweight fusible interfacing. Optional : Aglets or beads for drawstring.
Skill Level: Beginner.
Seam allowances are included in the pattern.
