The Devon Waistcoat is a simple cut that can be made fitted or oversized depending on how you imagine wearing it. Your ‘true’ size (the size you would normally select) will fit well over light layers. If you‘d like to wear your waistcoat over thicker winter jumpers you might like to choose one or two sizes bigger.

Fabric requirements: The lay-plans are done on a single layer of fabric to reduce wastage.

Trims required: Matching thread, 2 x buttons or snaps, 75cm of good quality iron on fusing, thread in a colour of your choice
Skill level: This pattern is recommend for intermediate sewers.
Construction techniques: Patch pocket, sewing an outer shell and lining shell, bagging out the lining, slip stitching, buttons and button holes or snap fastenings, pressing and topstitching.
The PDF Pattern comes with in depth written instructions, an A4 & US Letter tiles (37 pages for printing) and an A0 version (2 pages for printing).
