    Unique retro design

The Richmond Blouse is a classic vintage style blouse, it has a unique retro vibe. I was attracted to View B with the shawl collar. For me the raglan sleeves were very difficult to fit, and I had to take in quite a bit of the seam allowance which completely changed the overall shape. I have very small shoulders, so I think this type of style would suit someone with broader shoulders. I persevered and in the end I gifted the blouse to a friend, as it just didn't suit me. I made it in a medium weight cotton, but perhaps a softer lighter fabric would bring a better result. I do however love the range of the Now and Then patterns, they offer something a little different.
