Garment Details: The Homebody Quilted Jacket is designed to be a cozy oversized piece you can throw on for comfort and slouchy style points.
It is a collarless jacket with a boxy fit, button placket and two front patch pockets. The sleeves feature a boxy style dropped shoulder, are roomy enough to fit a mid-weight sweater, hit below the wrist and finished with an elastic channel at the cuff to keep drafts at bay. Optional bias bound cuff is also available. View A is constructed by piecing together quilted sections to create visual interest with seams at the middle. View B is constructed with seamless pattern pieces for a traditional quilted jacket feel. No quilting experience is needed, you will learn the skills to create an heirloom quality jacket.
As with all Matchy Matchy sewing patterns, The Homebody Quilted Jacket is designed to have simple shapes and easy construction to take the overwhelm out of sewing and to help you find the joy of discovery.
