Garment Details: The Terra Pant is a high-waisted pant, tailored with deep pleats that fall into a elegant tapered and slight bowed leg. Finished with side pockets, back patch pockets and optional belt loops.

Make them in a range of fabrics for your new pant staple. These pants exude cool and comfort with a chic edge for work.   

Fit: The Terra pant is cut high in the waist. The front waist tilts slightly forward to maintain a flat front with a long line into the small of your back. There is additional ease of 4 cm • 1 9/16" in the finished waist for comfortable sitting and eating. The thigh front and depth is generous for an easy fit and a slightly cropped to ankle length with a fully enclosed hem you can turn up or leave neat.

Sizing: This is a multi-sized pattern, Australian sizes 6-10. Sizing chart can be found here.

Fabric Suggestions: The Terra can be made in a wide range of fabrics, such as, cotton, Organic Cotton Twill , denim, linen, cord, velvet.

For softer fabrics like linen a weight 200gsm+, is recommended. For lighter weight cottons 150gsm+, use a tighter, crisper and hardier weave to provide stability.

For thicker fabrics, take into account this will absorb some of the ease in the waist - if your waist measurement is in between sizes, consider going up a size.

Fabric requirements: Main Fabric - Width 135 cm / 53 1/8” length 225 cm • 88 9/16” & pocket bag lining - 80cm x 40cm / 31 1/2" x 15 3/4"

Trims required: Matching thread, Metal trouser zip (including a pull lock) -18cm / 7 1/16". Interfacing mid-weight interfacing- 25 cm x 135 cm / 9 13/16” x 53 1/8”. 1 x Button 2 cm / 13/16" 

Skill Level: Suitable for intermediate/advanced skill level.

Seam allowances are included in the pattern. 

The paper pattern comes packaged in an envelope and includes highly detailed fully illustrated instructions.
