Garment Details: The VERANDA jumpsuit is a go-to for a relaxed summer day. The VERANDA jumpsuit can be made with short or long legs. Wear it loose or cinched – this design has a relaxed shape for different body types. The loose fit makes this jumpsuit a perfect layering piece – when the cool, coastal breeze hits, just throw a turtleneck jumper underneath!

Designer: For Kaisa Rissanen, co-founder of TAUKO Magazine, the best things about summer are swimming, ice cream, and garden parties. It’s wonderful when, after a long Nordic winter and spring, it’s finally warm enough to sit outside for hours, meeting friends, chatting, and enjoying the sunshine.

Sizing: This pattern is available in sizes 1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8, 9). Inclusive sizing from 31"/78cm bust to 57.5"/146cm bust. Tauko's sizing information can be found by clicking here. Finished garment measurements can be found by referring to the chart in images. 

Suitable fabrics: VERANDA works best in medium weight fabrics. Consider using cotton, linen, Tencel, double-gauze, or velvet.

The black sample is made in “Viscose Twill” (100% viscose, 4.57 oz/155 gsm). The plum sample is made in “Organic Cotton Oxford” (100% cotton, 4.13 oz/140 gsm) by Mind the MAKER.

Fabric requirements: for sizes 1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8, 9) 

Jumpsuit fabric for long version: width 55"/140 cm, length 73.6 (81.5, 87.8, 94.1, 98.4) (107.1, 115, 118.5, 128)" / 187 (207, 223, 239, 250) (272, 292, 301, 325) cm

Jumpsuit fabric for shorts version:  width 55"/140 cm, length 52.4 (61, 64.2, 67.3, 71.7) (76.4, 79.9, 80.3, 84.6)" / 133 (155, 163, 171, 182) (194, 203, 204, 215) cm

Interfacing: width 35.4"/90 cm, length 9.8"/25 cm

Trims required: Matching thread, interfacing, 6 buttons, approximately 0.8"/2 cm

Skill level: This pattern is recommended for intermediate sewers.
