Garment Details:
The Scout was inspired by 1920's women's scouting uniforms. Make as a neat shirt or dress with optional tie. The dress has in-seam pockets.
Sizing: This is a multi-size paper pattern in an envelope, including sizes UK 6–18 or 18-28. Sizing, finished garment measurements and fabric requirements can be found by refering to the charts in the images displayed.
Judy is wearing the dress in Elan Green Organic Cotton/Linen size 10.
Sandra is wearing the dress in Finnhamn by Merchant & Mills, similar fabric is the French Sailor Stripe, size 12.
Judy is wearing the top in Overdyed Indigo Slub size 10.
Oona is wearing the dress in a 14 Wale Corduroy size 20.
Fabric Suggestions: We recommend linen, lightweight denim, cotton chambray, poplin, linen/cotton blends. If you choose something with less drape the top will have a more sculptural look.
Trims required: Matching thread,
6 x 11-15mm/½ - ¾" buttons. 0.5m/¾yd interfacing shirt & dress. 0.8m/1yd interfacing for the tie (cut on the bias).
Skill Level: Suitable for an intermediate skill level.
All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless otherwise stated.
