By Merchant & Mills, The Niven Dress is a paper sewing pattern.

Garment Details: A classic shirt-dress or shirt featuring a bib, grandad collar and cuffed sleeves. Dress has in-seam pockets.

Niven has been designed to be an oversized fit. 

Sizing: This is a multi-size paper pattern in an envelope, including sizes XS-XXL. Sizing, finished garment measurements and fabric requirements can be found by referring to the chart located in images.

Fabric Suggestions: Fabrics with a tight weave to help with sewing the fine detailing; light to medium weight wovens such as cotton poplin, cotton chambray, Indian handlooms, hemp/cotton, lightweight denim (4-6oz).

Trims required: Matching thread, buttons 7 x 1.2cm/2" and 0.5M/ 3/4yd interfacing

Skill Level: Suitable for an experienced skill level.

Both have 1.5cm seam allowances apart from the neck which has a 1cm seam allowance and these are included in the pattern.
