By THE ASSEMBLY LINE, the Pencil Skirt is a paper sewing pattern.
Garment Details: The Pencil skirt is a timeless, fitted midi skirt. It features a back zip closure and comes without pockets. To ensure a flattering fit, the skirt includes four darts in the front and four in the back. While it has a regular waist, it can be customized with different add-ons for curvy or straight silhouettes. Also, you can choose to make the skirt with a front slit, back slit or back vent.
The pattern does not include pattern pieces for lining, but instructions for how to create a lining pattern and line your skirt are provided as an attachment at the end of the assembly instruction. Or you can visit TAL Sewing journal for a detailed tutorial. Best suited for advanced makers.
Sizing: This is a multi-size pattern, including size XS-L and XL-3XL. Sizing information can be found here.
Fabric Suggestions: Suggested fabrics are midweight fabrics such as denim, wool, faux leather, cotton twill.

110-120 cm fabric width
XS 1.0 m / S 1.8 m / M 1.8 m / L 1.8 m / XL 1.9 m / 2XL1.9 m / 3XL 1.9 m
140-150 cm fabric width
XS 1.0 m / S 1.0 m / M 1.0 m / L 1.0 m / XL 1.8 m / 2XL 1.8 m / 3XL 1.8 m
Trims required: Matching thread, fusible interfacing and a concealed/invisible zipper 25 cm

Seam allowances are included in the pattern.
The paper pattern comes carefully packaged in an envelope together with a step-by-step assembly instruction.
