100% summer weight organic cotton.

A dark hatched line print on a deep red background. A unique hand block from Jaipur.

Cross Hatch is suitable for tops, loose fitting trousers, shorts, dresses and skirts with fullness. Pattern suggestions: The Bantam or Heron from the M&M  Workbook. Also perfect for some Winnie pyjamas, a lightweight Ellsworth shirt or even an Edie with a voluminous sleeve, a gorgeous Marcel Dress or Top or a summer Celestia Dress.

Traditional hand block and dye techniques are used to make this wonderful rural cloth. Please note: Indian hand-printed cloths are sometimes susceptible to irregularities in the print, this is all part of their charm and are not classed as flaws.

Washing & Care: This fabric is hand dyed. For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum at 30 or 40 degrees with a handful of table salt. This will fix the dye to prevent it from running.

Please allow for a shrinkage of 3-5%.
