Garment Details: The NORDIC tee is a classic and timeless design with a straight cut that suits all body types and offers a slightly oversized fit. The pattern has three length variations that include a cropped top, a hip-covering tunic, and a midi-length dress version. It is the perfect beginner-friendly pattern that provides a canvas for you to experiment with different fabrics, colour blocking, and your own creative hacks.
Designer: Mila Moisio, co-founder of TAUKO Magazine, created the NORDIC T-shirt pattern to enable you to craft one of the world’s most popular garments.
Sizing: This pattern is available in sizes 1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8, 9) Inclusive sizing from 31"/78cm bust to 57.5"/146cm bust. Choose your size based on your hip measurement. Add a recommended positive ease of 1.6–4.7"/4–12 cm. Tauko's sizing information can be found by clicking here.
Suitable fabrics: Choose medium-weight knit and stretchy fabrics such as jerseys, sweater fabrics, wool knits, and Tencel knits.
The sample top is made from “Organic Sweat” (95% organic cotton, 5% elastane, 7.96 oz/210 gsm) in the colour creme, and the tunic sample is made from “LeatherGradient Space” (95% organic cotton, 5% elastane, 7.96 oz/210 gsm) The dress is made from merino wool (100% mulesing free merino wool, 7.37 oz/250 gsm).
